Responsibilities
Design and implementation of AI use cases (LLM apps, retrieval-augmented generation, classic ML models)
Building data pipelines and interfaces (ETL/ELT, APIs), feature engineering
Evaluation, prompt/system design, guardrails, and model monitoring
MLOps: containerization, CI/CD, deployment, observability, testing
Writing technical concepts and documentation, and handover to operations/client IT
Working with Strategy on effort estimates, roadmaps, and KPI measurement
Qualifications
A completed degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, or similar
2-4 years of experience in software/ML engineering, ideally with LLM stacks
Strong skills in Python and common libraries/frameworks (e.g. FastAPI, Pydantic, LangChain/LlamaIndex, scikit-learn, PyTorch)
Experience with cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP), containers (Docker), and Git-based development
An understanding of security, data protection, and Responsible AI principles
A high quality standard, clean engineering, and strong teamwork/communication skills
Confident written and spoken German and English
